Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB)

 

WEEK OF RESPECT  

The Week of Respect is the first week of October. Each morning students will hear morning announcements related to the topics of friendships/respect/kindness.  Teachers will focus discussions throughout the week on the topic of respect and how we follow all our school rules to be respectful to each other.

 

World Day of Bullying Prevention: Blue Shirt Day- Students and staff  are invited to wear a blue shirt to school and show unity in stomping out bullying (visit www.stompoutbullying.org

 

 

 

School Violence Awareness Week  

Each morning students will hear morning announcements related to the topics of being an Upstander and Speaking Up for others who can't.  Teachers will focus discussions throughout the week on the topics of school and community crime prevention, internet and social media safety, diversity, peer pressure, and conflict management.

 

Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE):  National Save Day-   Students and staff are invited to wear a purple or orange shirt to school to represent the UPSTANDERS in our school.
