President’s Message
By: Mrs. Patricia Skwirut, Board of Education President
Welcome back, everyone! I hope you are ready for another exciting
year at Mannington! Many of you are
already involved in fall sports, and some of you might be joining band or
chorus for the first time. You might be
thinking about trying a new club, or maybe you are even working on this school
paper! Whatever you choose to do, your
“extra” activities will only make your school year more interesting and
fun. You might even make new
friends! You could surprise yourself and
find that you have a hidden talent or a love for doing something you never even
considered before. Are you a
writer? A singer? A basketball player? An environmentalist? Now’s the time to find out! Get involved in some of the activities going
on around our school and make it a great new learning experience. You’ll learn more than just reading, writing,
and math. You’ll learn about – you! Have a great year!

from home part of the time, the insane asylums would be filled with
