Superintendent’s Message
As the new Superintendent of the Mannington Township School District, let me start by telling you how excited and honored I am that the Board has given me the opportunity to be here. I realize the importancy of our public education system. Educators truly are the “keepers of the dream” for the children who come to school everyday with their individual hopes and aspirations.
Being new to the district, it is important for me to take the time to understand what is currently in place and get to know how things are done and why they are important. In my interactions with the Board, staff and parents, I have seen a strong sense of wanting to do the right things for kids and making sure they receive a quality education. I have seen that quality reflected in the staff and the education programs currently being offered in the district. I am looking forward to interacting with staff, parents, and Board members, and I plan to do a lot of listening.
In thinking about what the future holds for the district, it is important for us to look at the delivery of instructional services and how we can maximize the application of technology to deliver those services. I also want to make sure staff are given maximum opportunities for training that will help them provide a quality education to students.
I am looking forward to working with the Board, staff, parents, students and community members regarding the future of education in Mannington Township School District.
