Text Box: Welcome to Mannington Township School T.E.A.M (Together in Education at Mannington) welcomes you and your family. We hope that Mannington is a place where you'll grow, learn, and meet new friends. T.E.A.M. is a family/faculty based organization that provides support for the educational, recreational, and cultural programs of our students. Our ongoing projects include: Funding transportation for educational trips Supplementing the school's Accelerated Reader Program Offering budget support to the Fine Arts Department Awarding 4 savings bonds to deserving Eighth Grade graduates Providing Holiday Books for every student Sponsoring school-wide assemblies each year Organizing a Staff Appreciation Luncheon Providing gifts and decorations for both Eight Grade and Kindergarten Graduations Supplying lunch for all students on Wellness Day Coordinating After School Karate and Family Fun events We are able to support these programs through fundraising activities, which include a Cookie Dough sale, Gift Cents Gift Cards, a Beef & "Beverage" Dance, Damask Easter candy sale, and our $avings Card. Our annual Scholastic Book Fair in the fall provides profits in books for classroom libraries, the school library, and our gift book inventory. We are actively enrolled in numerous business sponsored fundraisers such as Campbell's soup labels and Boxtop$4Education (a list is attached). We also have joined forces with our Board of Education to purchase a new Library software system and a Smart Board for the middle classmen. In addition, we also encourage our students to participate in local organizations events such as the Ruritan Pancake Breakfast and Community clean-up. As you can see, we are an active and productive group. We count on the support of families and faculty to optimize our students' educational experiences.
